08 Toyota Tundra No Ecm Communiation No Start

Im having the same issue with my 08 No connection when brought to the inspection station.

08 toyota tundra no ecm communiation no start. Just a ton of stuff. All good ordered new ecm from toyota installed. Lucky I just did emissions I disconnected the battery two weeks ago in hopes of the CEL would not return however it returned a week later.

If you run across a 2008 Toyota Tundra 3UR-FE and have a no start no ECM communication condition and there is no Check Engine Light bulb illuminated during the function check disconnect the secondary air valvesThese have a tendency to short the 5 volt reference line and stop all ECM communication. Now it only cranks not starting. Customer reply replied 4 years ago.

08 tundra wont startno communiction with the ecu. Next step is taking it to the dealer. After you remove the nut pull straight out and you will see the Spark plug cap is.

There are certainly many things that could cause an engine not to start though. Owned and operated by VerticalScope Inc. I need some help.

If not do the same with crank sensor. All relevant relays are working EFI starter circuit openingfuel pump fuel pump is working spark test shows coils are firing on crank fuel is getting to rail fuses look good. I tried starting my truck with that basic key that had no chip and it kept turning over but would not start.

The engine cranks and turns over but will not start or run. If the engine is the same as my 2002 they are a Hemi-style which go right into the valve covers hidden under the individual coil packswhich can be removed by loosening one nut I believe.
