2001 Toyota Tundra Will Not Start
Hi I have a 2001 Toyota tundra and the 4x4 will not engage.
2001 toyota tundra will not start. I filled the tank drove home. People have suggested it is the neutral safety switch. When I press the 4x4 button I can hear it start to work but then it stops.
If the starter relay is clicking then its not the ignition cylinder so you can cross that off. RESOLVED I actually figured it out last night right after I posted the thread. I have a 01 toyota tundra sr5 4x4 wv8 and it runs like a dream but at times when try to crank it just cranks over over and no start for 15-25 seconds spits back sometimes and then cranks up and runs perfectly.
It seems it isnt getting gas. So when I put it in drive and start to accelerate nothing happens. Choose one of the RF kits above.

Have partial internal electrical when switch is on but no cluster lights. I noticed the security system light the little red light that blinks on your dash for your alarm was blinking in a different pattern from when I had bought the truck about a week ago. If the engine stalls abruptly on your Cirrus as if some one clamped it then I would suspect that the lock-up function on the torque converter of the transmission is in the lock-up position.
My tundra has a master key black and valet key grey. Turn the key to start hear the fuel pump go the starter relay clicks but nothing happens. The next morning the starter is working but no engine fire.
