Although a recall was put out for 2000 to 2003 Tundras they are claiming no responsibility for the 2004 to 2006 models. 61 problems related to frame rust have been reported for the 2004 Toyota Tundra. Southeast Toyota Distributors LLC SET is recalling certain 2005-2011 4Runner Highlander Sequoia and Sienna 2005-2010 Avalon and Tundra.

On May 21 2017 a settlement of claims in a class action lawsuit involving 2005-2010 Toyota Tundra vehicles regarding frame corrosion was approved.

My 05 Tundra was recalled for the frame rust issues back in 2014At that time it passed the perforation test so they cleaned the frame and applied CRC sealer.

Having a similar issue with 2002 Tundra I purchased new only 106k miles on it all in good shape except frame is rusted out. Report was that none were found and Toyota performed a goodwill spray undercoat. I do not know if they are STILL replacing frames or not that would be a question for Toyota I guess.

Others may have posted about this new one in these older threads but since the later owners were left out back then they may not have bothered to. This finally approved class action settlement includes inspection of the customers frame and if the frames meet or exceed the Rust Perforation Standard based on the court ordered inspection criteria the frame will be. So yes some 2005-2005 Tundras got frames replaced.
