2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Timing Marks
Have not seen a for sure timing belt marks with the covers off so here it is.
2006 toyota tundra 4.7 timing marks. This is the final video in the series on water pump and belt assembly. I am doing a timing belt replacement on my 2003 47liter Tundra with 135k on it. I went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
Which valve is secondary air injection system switching valve number 2 bank 1. There are three timing chains on these 1GR-FE engines. Dealer is recommending the timing belt and water pump be replaced due to age.

The last chain is the main camcrank timing chain and is set up much like a timing belt. I have a 2006 tundra V-8 with 52000 miles on it. CARspec recommends you use the T marks.
The cams R marked. Not too hard to do. The T is NOT for timing belt.
The T marks and the special mark on the timing cover are there specifically for timing belt replacement. Put 1 piston up front pass side feel for air pressure coming out with your finger to assure its on compression stroke. For a list of parts and tools used.
