Toyota Tundra Shifter Loose

Toyota tundra shifter loose. The patented custom molded replacement bushing ensures a quality. Got into my Toyota Tundra 2001 4x4 and the gear shift was so loose that I could only get it into reverse. This will hopefully be the shift cable or related linkage.

The shifter on my 96 auto 4x4 is really loose and does not lock in Place very well and I was wondering if I can pull that center console and replace a bushing or something to get it firm and to lock in place well. My 2002 Sequoia has a loose shift lever I checked under the vehicle to make sure the shift cable is tight which it is. My column shifter also seems to be loose 2000 tundra.

There should be zero play on both. Luckily I got it back in park by playing with it but now it is so loose that I cant get it to move at all. No lock nut or anything like that eventually it will friction hold when tightening.
